Nightless night landscapes and plants

Come and explore the amazing nightless night of northern Finland!

Early summer we have an endless amount of light round-the-clock. Light is soft and beautiful, perfect for landscape and macro photography.

In this six (6) nights trip we will be visiting the best sceneries and get to know some of the rare and protected plants and flowers in the Kuusamo area. Our professional guides will take you to the best places and are happy to help you with your photography. We will be capturing fells, river valleys, old forests and many plants and flowers. For example calypso orchid, lady’s-slipper orchid, globe flowers and arctic starflower. If the weather is clear we will be photographing mostly from evening to morning.

Information of the tour

Time: In June. Ask for the days you prefer.

Duration: 6 nights

Target group: anyone who is interested in nature photography, both beginners and well experienced. In our excursions we will walk approx 5 km mostly on trails so participants should have reasonable general fitness.

Group size: maximum 6 persons

Accommodation: Will be conformed later.

Equipment: Everyone should have their own photography equipment for landscape and macro photography including tripod. Also outdoor suitable clothing and hiking boots would be good. Rubber boots can be loaned from the organizer if needed.

Meals: 3 meals day (including breakfast, lunch/picnic lunch and dinner)

Price: 2400 euros per person

Good to know

Payments:

Registration is binding after payment of the booking fee of 100 euros. Final payment will be sent by email and it has to be paid 30 days before the starting date.

Insurance:

Participants are responsible for their own insurance. Leisure accident insurance, etc. and insurance of photography equipment are also recommended.

Cancellation policy:

If the cancellation is made later than 45 days, but no later than 30 days before the start of the tour, we will withhold the booking fee (€ 100). If the cancellation is made later than 30 days but no later than 14 days before the start of the tour, we will withhold 50% of the tour fee. If the cancellation is made later than 14 days before the start of the tour, we will withhold the full tour fee.

The organizer has the right to cancel the tour one month before the start of the tour. If the tour is canceled by the organizer, all payments will be refunded.
